What is Jev?
Jev is TypeSafe AI’s first System One decision model. It is built for software that needs fast, repeatable judgments rather than another chat response: classify a request, choose a tool, score a document, or decide whether a case needs review. Its answers are constrained to types you define and include probabilities and confidence so ordinary code stays in control.

Is Jev a chat model?
No. Jev is designed to return typed decisions for software. Use a generative model when you need drafting, summarization, long-form explanation, or open-ended conversation.
What does Jev return?
Choice selects from a defined set, Score rates against ordered levels, and Noul returns the probability of a yes/no proposition. Choice and Score also include probability distributions and confidence.
Can Jev still be wrong?
Yes. Type-safe means the result cannot violate the output shape you defined; it does not mean every judgment is correct. Use confidence and probabilities to decide when to automate and when to review.
